PanOptic, LLC began in 1999 as a subsidiary of
Prescient Information Systems, Inc. At the time, a highly successful
imaging application called Watermark, was purchased by the FileNet Corporation.
The back-end of the product was used to enhance imaging capabilities
offered by FileNet products, but the Watermark product itself was harvested and
soon terminated. PanOptic formed to fill the need in the marketplace for
robust imaging applications. The development staff of the multiple
applications offered by PanOptic, continue to grow in expertise each day.
